At a half-day conference at Rice University’s Baker Institute on January 31, 2019, the topic of controlling corruption in Latin America was taken up by two panels and a keynote speaker. The panels featured federal prosecutors from Guatemala and Brazil, representatives from Mexican NGOs and academic specialists from the U.S. and Mexico.
