Description

This report observes that the theory, practice and terminology of Western democracies do not explain the outsize political power of the president of Mexico. The report draws on notions expressed in Newton’s three laws of motion to tease out the origin of the political strength of Mexican presidents, with attention to the incumbent,  Andrés Manuel López Obrador and his predecessor, Enrique Peña Nieto. The history of CNH Round 1.1 in 2015 is seen in a new light.
